Machine Gun Kelly was born Colson Bakker. He is one of the rappers from America who has gained a meteoric increase in popularity due to his unique style and musical ability. He is known for his fast fire lyrical flow, which is also what gave him the stage name Machine Gun Kelly, MGK began to rap while in high school. He then gained a large local following due to the production of several mixtapes. The "Stamp of Approval" came from his first mixtape from 2006. It was well-received by many. The popularity of his debut mixtape provided MGK the motivation to begin into a career in music. In the course of time, he put out four more mixtapes. The career of the artist exploded in 2011 after he signed a deal with Bad Boy, and Interscope Records. Following year was his debut album Lace Up dropped to an enthusiastic response from reviewers. It debuted at the number 4 on the US Billboard 200 Chart, with popular songs such as Wild Boy (with Stereo), Invincible (with Stereo) and Hold On. General Admission was his next studio album.
